So as we all know, prices are going up everywhere and there's no way we can stop it. And that has had a massive effect on the high end make up dealers and partnerships. Since the recession started people are buying less and less products that we call 'non high-street' such as Chanel, Dior, and many other brands of that category. But a lady always has a reason to treat herself to something nice for a special occasion and today I have decided to show you what my favorite product that costs a lot (for me anyway) is. I've chosen Lancome today since they are very famous in this department and my Mum always buys her expensive make up from there. If you guys wanted to know, my mum's favorite are clinique and Lancome of course.

First of all, I love the packaging. I think it is so classy and I think it was smart of the company to stick with black & white as the color scheme. The rose is the logo of Lancome and I like how they've put it all over the lipstick so you KNOW it's there company. I also like the shiny/wet look and the shape of it since it's very compact and it's easy to find in your make up bag. So a very positive opinion from me definitely!
There are 15 shades available in this lipstick at the moment and they claim it's 'a replenishing and enhancing lipcolor bare sensation' and in my opinion, it does exactly what it claims to do. The texture feels very creamy and delicate on the lips like your not wearing anything, which is good because I have a tendency to rub things off if they are annoying me. They have almost the same texture as the revlon lip butters, which I have and they are smooth and silky too. Obviously there is a downside to this, the lipstick itself doesn't actually stay on for an amazingly long amount of time because you only need a light layer for it and there you go.
The cost of this lipstick is about £21.00.
