Hi Guys!
HAPPY DECEMBER!!! It's finally here, and everyone around me is in a really positive mood. I thought I'd start off my little blogmas party over here by showing you what I got from my secret santa swap! As you might of noticed by the button I had on my blog, I was taking part in a bloggers secret santa held by Makeup Pixi-3 and 'a day in the life of a scottish lass' . I was paired up with Mia who blogs over at teenage beauty blog, and we both were talking on twitter for a long time deciding which products were suitable for each other, and I was amazed how quickly mine came! It's absolutely amazing, so let me show you what I got...
From left to right, the front of my box, a card from mia, and a leaflet for one of the goodies!
So this is the front of the box! Mia knows me well enough to know that I am in love with the hunger games, including the cast which includes the wonderful Josh Hutcherson! I know have a box with his face on, I am a very happy chappy. She also was very creative and re used her lux box, wish I could've packaged mine in a lovely box for her!! She also gave me a lovely card, which she wrote with the loveliest handwriting might I add! And a pamphlet for one of my lovely things she gave me, a konjac sponge! Sadly I can't picture it, because it's been used and I don't want to show a used sponge to you haha!
From left to right: cupcakes & cartwheels lip gloss, and collection 2000 in shade 'Geranium'
Next I got some cute little lip glosses from Cupcakes & Cartwheels, and a red polish from Collection 2000 in the shade 'Geranium'. I've needed a new red polish for a while, and as you can see by the swatch, it's a strong gorgeous red and I'll be using it a lot in the upcoming weeks to Christmas!
From left to right: Murad citrus lip balm spf 15, clinique eye refresher, and montagne jeunesse Aloe vera tonic face mask
So then I opened up the package and found these two samples! Firstly I got a Murad SPF 15 citrus lip balm/gloss. And then an under eye enhancer, I think that's what it said? Well me and my Mum tried a bit and we loved it! I looked a lot less tired, and I was seriously glowing! I love it, it would be perfect for anyone who has to get up for work early or who has night shifts, I think it'll work a lot better in the long term!
Wonderstruck perfume sample by Taylor Swift
And finally she sent me a lovely sample of Taylor Swift's Wonder Struck. A lot of my friends have this, and I must admit I had my doubts, but now that I've smelt it, I'm tempted to buy the full size, and come to think of it I might just put it on my list for Christmas! It's a gorgeous vanillary sweet scent! If you're a sweet smell kind of gal, it's the one for you!
Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for more Blogmas here on 'Life Of A Fashion-Nerd' x
